METRO LEARNING CENTRE
METRO LEARNING CENTRE was set up with the aim of providing secondary education for children from the age of 13 years, leading towards an IGCSE award which is given by Cambridge International Education, University of Cambridge, UK.
It is a 5-year intensive academic education primed to prepare the students as they take their steps toward higher education.
We use the conventional classroom teaching blended with technology to optimize the students’ potentials.
The medium of instruction is English. Two additional languages are also available for students, namely, Malay and Mandarin. Malay Language is taught as a subject for all students whereas Mandarin is an option.
There are yearly scholarship awards given to students who display an all-round achievement from Years 8 to 11.
Enrolment into the school is via a pass in the Diagnostic Test conducted usually in the month of August for the following year’s intake.
Besides academia, the school organizes a range of non-curricular activities throughout the year.
The school has a well-equipped science laboratory adequate for even science students in Grade 11 to conduct experiments under the supervision of teachers.
The enrolment of students in each class is maintained at the optimum of between 20-25 students.
