Event Details

For centuries mentoring was the only way of passing on values, skills and character qualities from one generation to the next. The fundamental concept of discipling and mentoring can be derived from the life and example of Jesus. Through Him, we can learn about the models of discipleship, evangelism and helping others grow in the Lord.

This course will examine Scriptural principles as well as model mentoring relationship to encouraging spiritual growth and development and equipping others to make a difference in the life of another.

Lecturers:

Rev. Ong Sek Leang (Special Guest)
He is the Senior Pastor of Metro Tabernacle and the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God of Malaysia. He also serves as the Vice Chairman of NECF (National Evangelical Christian Fellowship) of Malaysia. He ministers in many nations with a strong prophetic anointing for breakthrough. His passion is to raise up new generation of leaders and churches.

Dr. Evelyn Biles (Guest lecturer)
She is the founder and president of Global Mosaic International, a ministry that offers consulting training services to churches and organizations in the USA and abroad. A much sought after international trainer and teacher, she specializes in areas of leadership and counseling. She is a graduate and an affiliate adjunct faculty member in School of Psychology and Counseling, Regent University, USA.

Rev. Nancy Ong, MMin
She is the Associate Pastor of Metro Tabernacle and the Dean for the AOIC’s extension centre in Metro Tabernacle A/G. She oversees the education/discipleship and the mission departments of the church. Her passion is in the spiritual development of the people.

Rev. Caleb Chan, MMin
He is the Assistant Pastor of Metro Tabernacle A/G. His life’s mission is to follow and proclaim Jesus and his vision is to be a shepherd, disciple-maker and mentor to equip God’s people inter-generationally. He is currently pursuing his Doctor in Ministry.
