Commences 6 March 2021 at 2pm (5 weeks, 1.15 hr)
This course is for any couple wanting to work at having the best possible start for their marriage and to develop strong foundations for a lasting marriage. Areas covered include:
– The importance of commitment
– The art of communication
– Resolving conflict
– Nurturing your friendship
– Developing a good sexual relationship
It is compulsory for all couples preparing to marry within this one and a half year time.
All courses are to commence on 7 March 2021 at 2pm unless otherwise stated
Spiritual Armour of God
(6 weeks, 1.15 hour)
This course will bring Apostle Paul’s message to the Ephesians (6:10-18) to life. It provides a historically accurate background of a Roman Centurion’s armour then draws vital correlations to the spiritual armour God gives his children. It reminds Christians about the reality of the spiritual battle we face and describes the protection available to us.
This course will help you, having done everything, to stand firm.
Basic Life group Leader’s training (BLLT)
(4 weeks, 1.5hr)
We have never been created to do life alone but in a community, and the Life group leader is the single most important caregiver in the church.
Discover the joy of serving, nurturing and releasing others into spiritual growth and ministry. Learn leadership and ministry skills to lead and nurture a lifegroup. Learn how to lead the group through different stages of growth leading to multiplication, discipleship and ministry. Capture the vision and agenda of the lifegroups in Metro Tabernacle.
An overview of the book of Romans
Dates: 7 & 14 March 2021, 2pm (2 weeks, 1.15 hr)
An overview and introduction to the book of Romans will be covered in this course.
This book is one of the most systematic presentation of Christian doctrine in the Bible. Its main theme is the revelation of God’s righteousness in His plan for salvation for mankind. In short, it shows how to be right with God in our daily lives – what we believe and how we live out those beliefs.
Ps Jose Philip became a follower of Jesus Christ when he was fourteen. He completed both his Masters of Divinity in Biblical studies and his Masters of Theology from Singapore Bible College in May 2008.
He lectures on Apologetics, Christian Ethics, and many other online courses for Bible College Malaysia, AOIC and others.
