Testimony
I had been suffering from Osteoarthritis (OA) and Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) for the past 4 years. My knees were always in constant pain and my whole body especially my fingers and wrists were swollen and painful. I could not even carry a spoon nor try to open a door. I could not even sleep at night because of the excruciating pain. I could only walk with the aid of a walking stick or a wheel chair.
The medication only eased the pain temporarily. There seemed to be no cure.
Nowhere to turn to, I decided to spend time studying the Bible and praying. I then realized the importance of the church and every sermon encouraged me. When Pastor Carl Butler came to Metro Tabernacle and shared a simple sermon on forgiveness, I relented and came forward to the altar for prayer. I realized forgiveness is a fundamental requirement for healing in our lives. I felt a sense of peace within me after I was prayed for.
As the days passed, I realized the pains in my body were reducing and the swellings disappearing. I could manage to walk at a longer distance without the aid of a walking stick. My wrists were almost normal and I was able to lift things without much pain. My whole body changed for the better.
All Glory to God!
My blood results showed a tremendous improvement and my RA readings were normal and the doctors reduced all my medications. “Jesus has healed me!” I told to tell my sister who accompanied me. Today I’m pain free and I want to share with all, Jesus Heals!
